Lighting and Shadows

In order for the character to look part of the photograph it needs to be lit in the same way. It was a very cloudy day when the photo was taken, so a Vray Dome Light was used. This light produces very even light from all angles, and creates an ambient occlusion type shadow - perfect for simulating an overcast day. I also added another Vray Plane Light and only enabled specular highlights. This gave a nice subtle specular shine to the character walking along. The dome light colour temperature was changed to a slight blue, which will further aid with integration into the photo.
