Nodal Pan Table Track

My friend Ben and I spent a couple of hours filming a load of pans for our next matchmoving project due in 3 weeks. I have chosen to practise tracking using the above footage as there are many track points available. There is quite a bit of noise in the footage but it was recorded at 720p so this shouln’t be too much of a problem. I have quite an ambitious idea so this can be used as my backup incase that completely fails! Fingers crossed it won’t though as I have plenty time to work any problems out.

Here is a list of measurements we took while filming this scene:

Camera: Panasonic HVX200 onto P2 Cards

Focal Length: 4.8mm

Shutter Speed: 1/25th Second

Aperture: f4.0

Height from ground: 1.5m

Distance from edge of table: 2.8m

Width of one glass panel: 0.8m
